As part of their European tour for their new album TRAUMA released on March 29, 2019, the members of the band I Prevail went to Paris, for the penultimate concert of their tour interrupted two days later.

Despite the fear of the coronavirus and the quarantine that awaited us, fans still came to see the band, and the atmosphere in the hall was electric.
The first part was provided by the band Dream State, whose singer (slightly in her world!) has a voice that can be transformed as she wants, and was able to release very clear but also guttural notes which pleased the fans present.
After having warmed up the room with 10 original songs, they let the stage to I Prevail who started with the Bow Down bomb in front of a boisterous venue.
Setlist
1. Bow Down
2. Gasoline
3. Scars
4. Rise Above It
5. Hurricane
6. Stuck In Your Head
7. Blank Space (cover de Taylor Swift)
8. Low
9. Goodbye (Interlude)
10. Paranoid (+ drum solo)
11. Deadweight
12. DOA
- Encore -
13. Breaking Down
14. Come and Get It

The pogos in the pit followed one another through the songs, as well as the hits of I Prevail, and the band was definitely there for their fans.
But we still felt like a restraint from the band throughout the concert: this was explained the next day by singer Brian Burkheiser who had suffered from a voice problem for a few days and who was drug treated on the evening of the concert (he already had major health problems a few years ago, threatening to end his career). The guitarist / vocalist took his place on Stuck In Your Head, one of their first hits, allowing him to rest his voice during the concert. This situation also probably explains the absence of the acoustic song Every Time You Leave in Paris, when it was part of the setlist of the previous dates of the European tour.
Despite the distressing context of the coronavirus and the singer's vocal suffering, the concert was still great, and their next date in France will undoubtedly be even better.
Anyway, we'll be there.
