To still bring us the pleasure of seeing concerts despite being quarantined, the Australian band Hands Like Houses has taken on the challenge of doing a full concert live on YouTube and Facebook, broadcasted at 8pm Sydney time.

And it’s a successful challenge. The band members always seem so outgoing, and happy to be there. They often smile, and do not forget to regularly thank the entire team behind which made this project possible.

Setlist

1. Monster

2. New Romantics

3. Drift

4. Division Symbols

5. Sick

6. Headrush

7. Introduced Species

8. Colourblind

9. Glasshouse

10. Overthinking

11. Through Glass

12. Half-hearted

The frontman and singer, Trenton Woodley, makes us enjoy his clear voice but also his screams (which he manages better and better) like the one at the end of Glasshouse! The musicians (except Matt Cooper, unfortunately held in quarantine in Texas, but who had pre-recorded his guitar) are still as good as before, and the sound is really good.

The light show is also successful and worthy of a real concert, with even pyrotechnic effects on Glasshouse. The concert is very well filmed, we see each member regularly, there are several shots which often overlap, giving a very successful effect and pleasant to watch.

Despite the somewhat peculiar setup (where the members face each other and are on sets more than 1 meter away) and the absence of an audience and applause between the songs, the atmosphere is there and we get caught up in the game in front of our screen ... They even let it be understood that they may repeat the experience, and we say yes!
