Bring Me The Horizon - 'Parasite Eve'

Bring Me The Horizon has finally released the new single Parasite Eve, teased on video for several months. Spoiler alert: it's a bomb.

They offer us a fairly electronic song and a rather futuristic video, dealing with the quarantine experienced all over the world:

don’t forget what they told you

when we forget the infection

will we remember the lesson

The vocal introduction is very interesting, the electronic voice during the build up (reminiscent of MANTRA and Ludens) works very well, with a punchy This is a war before the chorus drops. The latter is particularly successful, with striking rhythm and lyrics.

Definitely, BMTH is not done surprising us with the exploration of new musical genres, and so much the better.
